WOW this place is breath-taking the views, the accommodation and the hospitality more than lived up to our expectations. Margaret and Kevin were really welcoming, we arrived on the 4th along with the snow, Kevin very kindly set up the coal fire and ensured we had plenty of fuel to see us through (our Pugs never moved from the front of that fire they loved it !!!!) The cottage was spotless and the bedding was crisps and fresh. We loved it so much we booked our return trip whilst we were still there as the availability was getting snapped up. If you dream of waking up to magnificent views, great walks form your door and outstanding accommodation then this is the place for you

I have stayed in many accommodations in the Lakes over the years. Few could compete with Stepping Stones for comfort and style and you Kevin and Margaret have extended great warmth and welcome from my very first enquiry to our final goodbyes. You have created a real sanctuary for your guests. Riverbank Cottage and its surroundings really have the 'wow' factor.

Stepping Stones is a fantastic location with friendly and welcoming owners. There are plenty of walks available from the front door, and after a day out on the hills, Garden cottage is a very warm and comfortable place to return to.

Riverbank Cottage is in an idyllic part of the Lake District away from crowds and is very nicely furnished with all mod cons and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a wonderful week. The owners show a huge trust in their guests.
